Appointment of Vice-President, International Development

CBM International Office is now seeking an exceptional Vice-President, International Development to oversee the joint international programme and play an instrumental role in ensuring the Global Development Strategy is built and aligned with the overall CBM Family Strategy. This is a new position on the Executive Leadership Team and sitting as a member of the Federation’s Family Leadership Team, it is expected that the successful candidate will bring thought leadership, working with an international, dispersed team in the International Development Department. S/he will play a key role as an ambassador for CBM internationally, developing relationships with key stakeholders and partners, brokering CBM’s role in alliances and consortia, helping to raise funds, and building a strong profile and reputation for CBM.

The ideal candidate will be strategic and visionary with excellent communication skills and a strong track record of field experience in a development environment as well as experience of working in a networked environment and/or in globally dispersed organisations. S/he will have familiarity with a range of development alliance networks, bringing expertise in disability inclusive development and a solid understanding of good disability practice. They will also share CBM’s passion and embody the strong values-base of the organisation.

This is a full-time position with the successful candidate being contracted on a five year fixed-term basis, with possibility for extension.
