Product Specialist

The role

The incumbent will work in the field and visit sites, provide technical support to performance contracts and field service technicians when they cannot solve problems.

Your profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
• Technical certificate or diploma in Mechanical, Millwright or Electrical
• Must be able perform fault finding on electrical and hydraulics
• Experience on doing fault finding on axles, drive trains and engines
• Incumbent must have at least 5 years related experience within mining industry
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics
• Also required are strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Ability to facilitate technical training and impart detailed information
• Computer literacy
• Ability to do proper feedback reports and ability to communicate well with the customers and within the group is also required.
• Must have a valid drivers licence.
• Basic understanding of drilling dynamics will be an added advantage.
