The role

We are currently seeking a part time (initially) talented GIS Analyst to work closely with our other specialists to deliver professional services across all parts of the business within the Region. With a minimum of 4 years commercial experience in details, you will play a key role in:
1.  Working with projects as required providing high-quality GIS input and output
2.  Promoting the growth and utilisation of GIS within the business and identifying new opportunities
3.  Assisting desktop GIS users within the Region with queries and support
4. Assisting projects and teams in spatial data and software acquisition
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
·  Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
·  Post-graduate qualification in GIS or spatial science preferred
·  Hydrological Modelling
-  GIS Software: MapInfo, vertical mapper, ArcGIS, QGIS
-  QA Management
-  Project Management Skills
-  Ability to work alone and under pressure
