Job description
Atlas Copco Construction Technique is seeking a Service Technician to service our customers within Mid-Western and Western Canada (Edmonton to British Columbia).
Knowledge
- Experience with programming and knowledge of the different types of controllers and the systems involved with them- 10 years mechanical experience- 5 years experience - Minimum Red Seal Needed: Heavy Equipment Technician - Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (off road)- Must have experience of our network Global Business Portal to carry out the job- Must have experience in training for customers and dealers on Atlas Copco products repair and operation

- Work will include night shift and day shift assignments- Perform shop repairs and Running repairs underground as required - Some duties will be underground maintenance and support- Machine audits as required- Developing and maintaining positive relationship with machine operators and customer representatives- Work with your Lead hand and other technicians to ensure safety, goals and targets for machine performance and availability- Daily time entry- Daily shift reports- Other duties as assigned and required to maintain the contract- To provide field service when required for our local customers- To provide Technical Support on the generators, compressors, and light towers- Troubleshooting with internal and external customers- Handling all product and service warranty - Responsible for coordinating and performing product updates- Reporting Technical issues back to the Product Company- Dealing with customers with part related issues- Traveling to customer sites as required for field service and technical support- Monthly meetings with Canadian Technical Service Team/Product Company- Supporting commissioning of new units when required- Permanent full-time position- Reporting to the Service Manager located in Mississauga ON but based out of Edmonton AB- Atlas Copco offers a great benefit and pension package, with competitive wages- The hourly salary for this position is $39.56
