Information Technology Dept. Intern (New Haven, CT)

IPA's IT department is looking for a full-time intern for Summer 2014 to support the department with the following duties:

• Provide overall administrative support to IT Department Staff
• Accept incoming helpdesk requests and perform initial response to request
• Triage helpdesk requests and assign to appropriate staff
• Support procurement by ensuring purchase requests have all relevant financial information.  Communicate with customer to obtain said information
• Support receiving of IT equipment (make sure items ordered are received and organize incoming equipment by order)
• Support IT Equipment distribution by adding relevant shipping/delivery information into helpdesk ticket
