Director of Policy - Energy

Citizens Advice is changing. But, we need your help to ensure we continue to make the most of our pioneering approach.
For more than 75 years, we’ve provided free, independent and impartial advice and information to help people resolve their legal, money and other problems. In the last 12-months alone we’ve helped 2.1 million people solve 6.6 million problems through our network of local Citizens Advice that delivers services from over 3,300 community locations in England and Wales.
We also campaign for policy changes locally and nationally across many important issues to meet our overall objective of creating a fairer society. One way we achieve this is through our statutory role as the representative of consumers in the energy market, developing an agenda-setting programme of policy research and behind the scenes influencing work that offers the opportunity to make a major impact. Right now we are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our Energy Team and to help shape service delivery across our organisation. This is a highly influential media-facing role, affording the opportunity to lead a talented team of policy experts, engaged in developing important research that will shape public debate and bring about genuine change.
