Chief Financial Officer


An unusual opportunity for an incumbent in conjunction with a strategic commitment to overall growth and development has created the need for the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer. The Head Office holding group of around 100 people effectively controls many billion kina worth of assets, influence thousands of employees, and impacts millions of customers.
The Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and the Board and be responsible for all aspects of the financial function, including both compliance and management reporting, all regulatory reporting, and the development and implementation of effective budgetary cost controls.
In addition to formal relevant qualifications, you will most likely have a work history that will demonstrate the capacity to think holistically and creatively as well as the skill to contribute to an insightful analysis of the funds core operations. In a personal sense you will need to be disciplined, very hands on, rigorously objective and extremely engaging across all levels of the organisation with a natural inclination towards coaching for performance and development.
The remuneration package will consist of two components: a salary package incorporating a base and performance incentive; and an N.C.D. cost of living component.
