Adviser and Head of Evaluation Section

With a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences or management and at least ten years’ working experience in evaluation, Results-based Management (RBM), and performance assessment, gained within a governmental, international or multilateral organisation, you now have an opportunity to contribute to organisational learning and effectiveness.
Your remit will include planning and managing evaluations in line with the Evaluation Strategy; contributing to strategic planning and portfolio monitoring; advising on staff and management development;  as well as contributing to policy development, analysis and good practices in Strategic Planning and Evaluation Division (SPED).
This will involve planning and implementing the annual evaluation programmes; encouraging an evaluation culture; ensuring that results are integrated into our planning and design processes and contribute to learning, continuous improvement and value-for-money; advising on improvements; monitoring systems and procedures; providing advice and training; reporting; and managing your team, including external consultants.
To be considered, you must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country.
