To remain at the forefront of making human rights change happen, Amnesty has to evolve with the continually changing sector. The Strategy and Evaluation Unit is an important part of making this happen – leading on the organisation’s strategic and operational planning, as well as monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment. You will provide coordination and administrative support across the unit, ensuring that the team is able to deliver a busy workload across a complex multi-site organisation.
About the role:
You will support the smooth and efficient running of the unit by providing administrative and coordination support to the Director and busy team of seven. This includes logistics for meetings, supporting budgeting, invoicing and contract management, and information management. You will be called on to prepare a range of documents, such as narrative reports, presentations and consolidation of numerical data. You will also manage online tools and provide training and support in their use.
About you:
An organised and efficient team player, you thrive in busy environments and enjoy multi-tasking. You are confident liaising outside of the team including with those more senior and are able to find solutions and negotiate a way forward. Your strong IT and communication skills and attention to detail means you are able to quickly and accurately collate and present information (both narrative and numerical data). Most importantly, you deliver high quality work on time, getting satisfaction in supporting a busy team.
