Regional Systems Support Officer

  • Deadline : 14 Aug 2015
  • Salary : Competitive with excellent benefits
It’s hard to believe that today 650 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and 2.3 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute.

WaterAid is looking for a Regional Systems Support Officer to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.

The purpose of the role is to support the use and development of the Project Management Information System (PMIS), enhancing programme effectiveness by ensuring high quality information for decision making. You will undertake constant analysis of information needs, successfully identify information problems and generate relevant reports. You will also provide support to Country Programmes in Mozambique, Malawi, Madagascar and Zambia to use the system, and manage the programme information process for Swaziland and Lesotho.

To be successful, you’ll need to have a relevant degree in International Development, Business Administration, Social Sciences or Information Systems. You will also need solid experience in developing and implementing Programme Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) or PMIS processes and/or systems, and in the use of databases to inform decision-making and monitoring of progress. Good attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to coach and motivate others will also be highly beneficial.

By 2030 we want everyone everywhere to have clean water, sanitation and hygiene. We need you to help us make it happen. If you bring your expertise, passion and professionalism, we’ll give you a lot back.
