Grants & Information Coordinator

An opportunity has arisen for an individual with proven proposal development and report writing experience to join our operational programme in Darfur.
The Grants Information Coordinator is required to coordinate the production and submission of high quality proposals and proposals, in order to access donor funding and to provide accountability to existing donors. This will involve drawing upon a range of project and programme staff, collating information, monitoring progress against donor targets, and managing the submission process in a proactive and organized manner. The successful candidate will have an understanding of international humanitarian standards and help ensure compliance to donor and Tearfund rules and conditions.
This unaccompanied role is based in Khartoum and will involve some travel to Darfur.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good numeracy and written ability, along with good analytical and representation skills. They will be highly organised and able to coordinate reporting on a complex portfolio of donors.
The successful candidate will most likely have significant experience of Grants Management with International NGOs and a proven ability to develop winning proposals to medium or high compliance institutional donors.
All posts involve potential contact with children and the recruitment process will include specific checks related to safe-guarding issues.
