WaterAid, an international NGO, is looking for a Country Representative to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.

The Country Representative will lead WaterAid’s Country Programme Strategy, overseeing the implementation of existing work while developing a new programme responding to the unique Ethiopian context. They will also help shape WaterAid Ethiopia’s future development as a regional leader.
We are looking for an inspiring representative who is politically savvy; a strategist, negotiator and change-leader, able to guide WaterAid Ethiopia through a historic transition. The successful candidate will command credibility within the organisation and with external audiences including government, donors and other stakeholders. Significant experience working overseas and in an international, bilateral or multilateral agency or corporation is desirable.
