Senior Program Officer - Internal Audit

ATG as an institution had been initiated and supported by Association for Stimulating Know How (ASK) in the year 2009. Its vision is to ensure excluded groups gain their rightful share of the development benefits through inclusive approach leading to economic empowerment.

ABOUT THE JOB: 

ATG is seeking a Senior Program Officer - Internal Audit. S/he will be responsible for leading the audit team in the process of continuous improvement in audit reporting tools, checklist, sampling, rating mechanism, and fraud policy to achieve low risk environment.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Plan audit to achieve 100% branch audit as per decided plan;
• Prepare audit report analysis and develop strategies for high risk issues;
• Follow up on fraud cases;
• Review key business process, products and policy, and recommendation for process improvement of management team;
• Develop strong audit skills and impart rigorous training and orientation to audit team;
• Prepare audit manual and audit procedure for the team;
• Prepare and consolidate audit report and present to the management.

Qualifications:

• MBA in Finance and experience of 3-5 years in microfinance industry;
• Good communication skill as well as knowledge of risk audit;
• Professionally competent;
• Knowledge of accounting and microfinance procedure;
• Knowledge of management system and computer expert;
• Good written and verbal communication skill;
• Expert in MS Office;
• Willing to travel 20 days in a month.
