ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: 
Triple Jump is a fund management company specialized in managing investment funds focused on impact investing in emerging markets. It targets financial sector development and invests in institutions that service the bottom of the pyramid. Triple Jump offers professional fund management services to investors, ranging from asset selection, to portfolio management to fund administration. It can provide services to financial intermediaries in all stages of their development.
ABOUT THE JOB: 
Triple Jump is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager. S/he will be responsible to work 40 hours per week and will be based in Amsterdam with occasional travel.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
As (Senior) Portfolio Management Officer you will be responsible for top-down portfolio construction and liquidity management for one or more of the funds under Triple Jump’s management. You will maintain a direct line of communication with investors/fund sponsors and produce regular Fund reports and analysis. As part of your tasks you will cover a geographic region of strategic interest for Triple Jump, for which you will provide high level country and financial sector analysis that will translate in asset allocation decisions. Furthermore, you will review and express opinions on selected investment proposals before they are submitted to Investment Committees, and represent Triple Jump in workout negotiations. You will report to the Head of Portfolio Management. The position requires limited travel to countries where Triple Jump is active. The position is initially for 1 year and based in Amsterdam. If successful, the candidate will be offered a permanent position. Candidates must possess a valid working permit for the European Union.
Qualifications:
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial sector;
  • Analytically oriented;
  • Proven country and sector analysis skills;
  • Able to perform risk/return analysis in the context of asset allocation decisions;
  • Capable of independent decision-making;
  • Strong financial analysis skills, ideally experience in analyzing financial institutions;
  • Good negotiation skills;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Additional preferred characteristics:
    • Knowledge of Russian or Spanish;
    • Experience with workout cases/problem loans;
    • Previous working experience in Central Asia, Caucasus, or Eastern Europe;
    • Enrolment in CFA or CAIA programs.
