Postdoctoral Research Assistant at University of Bristol

The School of Chemistry are currently recruiting for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, to be based in the Research Group of Professor Varinder Aggarwal.
The primary research responsibilities will be in the development of cascade methodology and its application to the synthesis of complex molecules.
In addition to research, the successful candidate will also have excellent opportunities to develop supervisory, written, teaching and organisation skills, making this post ideal training for a career in industry or academia.
In order to apply, you will need to have a PhD in Organic Chemistry, or have submitted your thesis by the start date. You will also be expected to have recent experience in synthetic organic chemistry and have the ability to carry out, interpret and properly record the results of modern spectroscopic techniques, including NMR.
The post is currently funded for 3 years, and is expected to start on 01 October 2015.
