We are actively looking for a Partnership Executive to come on board the Partnership Development Team at an exciting time. You will take the lead with strategic account management, partnership building and engagement with one of our core institutional partners; ECHO (European Community Humanitarian Office).

Working in more than 120 countries, we do whatever it takes to create breakthroughs in the way the world treats children. Our UK and Global Programmes department delivers humanitarian and development programmes, builds partnerships with institutional donors – including governments, multi-laterals and trusts – and drives lasting change. Together, we save children’s lives, fight for their rights and help them fulfill their potential.
This role is in our Partnership Development Team, within Save the Children UK’s Programme Partnership Department. The Partnership Development Team vision is that Save the Children has exceptional partnerships with institutional donors and foundations, maximising funding and influence to deliver our shared aims for children.

The Partnership Development Team main responsibilities:

  • To have oversight of SCUK’s partnerships with institutional donors and foundations;
  • To provide and build expertise in cultivating donor relationships, compliance, business development and engagement;
  • To take a broad and long term approach to our relationships and to donor stewardship;
  • Going beyond the receipt of funding to collaborate with and influence partners in order to achieve our shared goals for children.

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience engaging with and securing collaboration or funding from institutional funders/large foundations/corporate donors/philanthropists - particularly with European Institutions;
  • Experience within the INGO sector;
  • A track record in strategic account management.
This role is based in London with close collaboration with the Brussels based Partnership Management Unit.
We will be doing ongoing interviews for this role whilst the position is open.
