Office Manager in New York, USA.

Purpose:
UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant to:
Recruitment and contracting of personnel
• Organizing meetings including web conferences, receptions and working sessions
• Management of the section chief’s calendar
• Upkeep of digitally-shared files and folders for tracking of contracts, documents, assets and supplies
• Assist in the production and updating of information materials, such as charts, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, TeamSites, web pages and other documentation
• Other administrative and office support as needed

Minimum requirements and competencies:
At least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 5+ years of working experience in office management or operational support, preferably in a digital media
or communication context
• Excellent command of (written and spoken) English
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Advanced knowledge of standard electronic systems and applications such as filing sharing, Outlook,
Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively apply the use of web technologies (e.g. SaaS) for office productivity
• Experience in working for the UN, UNICEF or with International NGOs or global organisations a plus
