Night Supervisor
Mwananchi Communications Limited, publishers of the leading Tanzania newspapers, Mwananchi, The Citizen and Mwanaspoti is looking for motivated and highly experienced individuals to fill the position of:
1. NIGHT SUPERVISOR (1 POST)
Job Purpose:
To supervise the circulation activities during night hours to ensure that all products are delivered on time and to the right destinations and in the correct quantities ..
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key result areas:
Receive newspapers from dispatch section and ensure that they match the allocation sheets ..
To verify allocation sheet against the labeled parcels ready for distribution.
Supervise the preparation of delivery notes to ensure accuracy of the same.
Accurately fill in forms which are used to verify delivery of , newspapers to various destinations. .
Ensure that newspapers are delivered to the various destination points as allocated by the circulation manager.
To prepare timely and accurate report on a daily basis to inform the distribution supervisor of the any issue that may arise during the shift.
Achieve agreed targets:
Timely distribution of papers into the market.
Deadlines control: Zero tolerance
Customer Service: Maximum 24 hour turn around for resolution of complaints
Qualifications and Experience:
Academic: University Degree.
Professional: Diploma in sales and Marketing.
Wide knowledge on MS windows especially MS Excel and computer skills in general.
Experience: 2 to 3 years working experience in similar job/Sales and Marketing.
