INTRODUCTION
AJIM ENTERPRISES LIMITED is a Limited company specialized in mechanical and scaffolding works. Our range of services includes steel fabrication and erection works, machineries installation and supply of all types of building materials and hardwares.
The company's head quarter is located at Dar es salaam Tanzania, lIala Boma near the junction of Kawawa Road and Uhuru road at Mwalimu house building third floor wing "A". We also have branch office in Mbeya city and intend to open new branches in various locations within Tanzania mainland.
The company has employment opportunities that needs to be filled by the mid of June 2015, only those who meets these qualifications needs to apply for the posts.
TITLE: MECHANICAL ENGINEERS-2 POSTS (Knowledge in quantity surveying is a must)
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Holder of a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable higher learning institution.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Reporting to senior engineer he/she will be in charge of all mechanical projects that the company executes to its client's sites.
Ensuring that timely management of projects is always observed
Do as per position agreement set by the operations manager.
Ensuring that targets are met weekly, monthly and annually.
Participating fully on quoting for tenders/bids accurately and realistically to make sure that the company secures those tenders and jobs as per the requirement by clients.
Ensuring that all under going projects are managed and yield profit to the company according to quotations.
Managing the department/section including supervising
technicians and controlling costs for' each project,
Producing accurate project reports weekly, monthly and annually' to keep the management informed of overall project progress.
He/she must be fluent in English and Swahili language.
Overall control of the technical team that reports to his/her authority.
JOB EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must have an experience of not less than three years in managing complex projects: two of them must be in mechanical projects,
Apart from that the candidate must also have an experience in preparing realistic and accurate quotations and must have
accuracy and familiar with various kinds of dimensions.
Experience in quantity surveying and valuation of the project is the must.
Lastly the candidate. must be familiar with various management issues.
