Established in 1991, the EBRD aims to assist more than 30 countries from the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean, to Central and Eastern Europe, to Central Asia. Our investments foster growth and innovation and promote countries' transition to market economies.

The EBRD is seeking a Managing Director (MD) for Central and South Eastern Europe (CSEE) who will be responsible for the Bank’s overall presence and activities in the region. The MD will be tasked to formulate and deliver the Bank's strategy and business plan for the region, including investments and policy reform engagement with the respective authorities, ensuring close coordination with IFIs, EU, bilateral institutions and other stakeholders. The MD will lead one of the Bank’s five regional business groups, comprising 16 countries of CSEE regions.
