Manager - Financial Inclusion

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: 
Rajasthan Shram Sarathi Association (RSSA) has been promoted by Aajeevika Bureau and since its inception RSSA has undertaken work in providing financial services and solutions to vulnerable seasonal migrants and their families from rural Rajasthan. It was registered in 2007 with a vision to become a leading agency towards ensuring secure, dignified lives of communities dependent on labor and migration.€ RSSA serves as an incubator for financial services for migrant households. This involves four critical areas of financial intervention at source and destination locations viz. smoothening cash flows, breaking past debt cycles and advance traps, providing livelihood support, and financing retirement.
ABOUT THE JOB: 
RSSA is seeking a Manager - Financial Inclusion. S/he will be responsible for managing its program in financial literacy, access and linkages to financial services for migrant groups and unorganized sector workers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee financial literacy and access programs including outreach, insurance, pension, and savings activities across the organization's branches and Aajeevika Bureau centers;
  • Develop training material and organize workshops for field teams on financial literacy techniques, counselling methods, products and services;
  • Assist the organization's core operations through promotional programs, analysis, and business development inputs for livelihood support activities among the organization's clients and target groups;
  • Data analysis, presentation, and communication of program interventions to donors and stakeholders;
  • Liaison with banks, financial intermediaries, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a Postgraduate degree in Finance/Economics/Commerce/Management or similar disciplines;
  • At least 3 years work experience in the field of financial inclusion, training, capacity building and communications roles with rural communities and groups;
  • Should be fluent in Hindi and should have a functional knowledge of English;
  • Good quantitative, analytical skills with ability to interpret data and results;
  • Good communications, media, and participatory skills in developing tools and methods for training and counselling.
