Intelligence & Data Analyst Development Programme

£27,300 (rising to £29,500 after 1 year)
London based
Data is everywhere and our Intelligence & Data Analyst Development Programme will develop your ability to make sense of it. By seeing the connections that others miss, you’ll help us protect the UK from threats such as terrorism, espionage and cyber attack.
Through a number of postings this challenging programme puts you at the heart of MI5. Analysing and interpreting data and making recommendations on further actions, you’ll work closely with teams of Intelligence Officers. It’s a thorough introduction to the different aspects of our work, as you use advanced methods and technologies to provide vital intelligence and influence a range of investigations.
You’ll need at least a 2:1 degree in any subject area, or relevant experience, combined with a talent for working with large data sets and excellent analytical skills. Just as important, you’ll be a proactive and creative thinker, with the ability to adapt to different requirements and to spot patterns that others often miss. Bring us all this, and we’ll give you the chance to build a stimulating and rewarding career, including plenty of opportunities to develop, either into a management role or as a subject specialist.
Data is everywhere. Make sense of it, starting now.
