Role Summary/Purpose	As a member of the controllership team, you will report to the Business Controller of Water and Process Technologies (W&PT), a business of the Power and Water division of GE. You will work closely with the commercial, operations, and finance organizations to analyze commercial arrangements and ensure appropriate application of revenue recognition policies & procedures. This role will be a key resource for supporting business development opportunities including acquisitions & dispositions.
Essential Responsibilities	In this role, you will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. You will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and be involved in long-term planning.In addition, you will: Partner with inquiry to order (ITO) and order to receipt (OTR) teams to drive appropriate contractual terms impacting timing & amount of revenue recognition prior to contract execution  Validate contract set-up in SAP during handover from ITO to OTR teams to ensure consistent application of & compliance with revenue recognition policies & procedures  Ensure revenue recognition policies & procedures are established, reflect current business practices and are reviewed & updated on a regular basis  Assist commercial, operations & finance teams with reviewing and understanding other key contractual terms such as financing structures, billing terms, letters of credit, guarantees, embedded derivatives, etc.  Support business development opportunities including acquisition & disposition support  Have extensive interaction with commercial, operations, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), finance, treasury, and tax functions  Interface with Power & Water & Corporate controllership organizations
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of controllership / accounting experience)  Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controllership / accounting leadership roleELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:  Certified Public Accountant  Willingness and ability to work out of office in Trevose, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
