ABOUT THE JOB:
BFC is seeking an Agricultural Insurance Specialist. S/he will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies and market analysis with respect to agroinsurance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of agroinsurance products and schemes;
- Develop pricing schemes for agroinsurance products and services;
- Build actuarial models to develop microinsurance solutions in agriculture;
- Elaborate clear and concise interim and final reports.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or other relevant field;
- At least 3 years of experience in agricultural insurance;
- Experience in agricultural credit is an advantage;
- Experience in consulting or international development;
- Practical experience in agricultural risk analysis and modelling;
- Excellent communication and writing and skills in English, strong presentation skills.
