Sandvik IT Global Shared Services is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. This is done in an international environment, within various areas of responsibilities, such as IT architecture, management systems, process development, IT security and IT support. Today, about 850 people in approximately 40 countries work in IT Global Shared Services at Sandvik.
The SAP Competence center supports and develops several SAP solutions. The SAP Finance team, with around ten people mainly based in Sweden but also located in Germany and Asia, manage the Finance module across all SAP solutions. As many of us have a background in finance, we are now looking for a SAP Finance Expert with a deep understanding of SAP also from the IT-perspective. The location for this position is Sandviken, but another Sandvik location can be considered, as long as one to three days per week are spent in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
In the position as SAP Finance Business Process Specialist, you support Sandvik’s business areas and Group functions in SAP Finance matters. As SAP is evolving within Sandvik, you manage and take part in interesting short and long-term development projects, in addition to maintaining existing solutions and supporting users of these systems. You also configure new and existing solutions and maintain a good overview of IT and the business process.
As we are supporting all of Sandvik globally, the frequency of traveling will depend on the projects and activities you are involved with.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’sdegree, preferably in IT or Finance, and with at least five years’ experience from working within the SAP Finance area. Previous work with Controlling (CO), General Ledger (GL) and Asset Management (Asset) is considered valuable. You are well acquainted with the challenges of working in a global organization and a global system set-up. Experience from working in projects and also managing projects are advantageous. We expect you to be skilled in SAP, and general knowledge of ERP systems and integrations is a plus. As we are working in a global setting, your communication skills in English must be good, both in speaking and writing.
