Sandvik has implemented a new Human Resources delivery model and organizational structure. As part of this, the Global Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team will lead the way forward in Sandvik’s ambition to build a strong, level playing field for rewards; enabling us to attract and retain the talent needed to achieve our business objectives. This area is also responsible for equal and transparent pay opportunities and programs for each employee, as well as competitive programs based on solid/relevant market data and Sandvik Group Compensation Policy, Design Principles and Values. Through education and communication, we ensure proper understanding of programs by employees and line managers.
We are now looking for a C&B Specialist, and we can offer you an excellent opportunity to learn and expand your experience, in a large international organization where you will work with some very experienced staff members; experts in their field. This is a new position in a challenging and changing environment where you will be instrumental in the development of the C&B area and the positive streamlining effect we have on this complex matrix structure. Working with a team of experts you will broaden your knowledge and experience, making you a very versatile team member. Today there are five team members, all reporting to the C&B Manager, Nordics. Location for this position is Stockholm or Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As a C&B Specialist you have a generalist role within C&B and will work with different areas, such as:
  • Overseeing the yearly salary review process
  • Participating in making job descriptions and job evaluations
  • Conducting salary and pay structure market analysis and salary data reporting
  • Evaluating and administering employee compensation and benefit programs
  • Administering short-term incentives
  • Participating in projects
  • Creating documents for making presentations and conducting training
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant degree and at least five years of experience within the area of Compensation & Benefits. You have good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and you are used to work with HR-systems. You have good skills inEnglish and Swedish, both written and verbal.
We place great value on your personal qualities in this recruitment, characterized by being confident in a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage a complex environment, committed to completing tasks and maintaining productivity. You will regularly interact with HRServices and other HR related specialists, managers and employees, therefore it is important that you are both a good communicator and a good analyst. You are good at taking action and energizing people, as well as persevering through a changing environment, and your strong networking and negotiating skills make you good at shaping opinions. Furthermore, you have an independent working style, are solution-oriented and service-minded.
