Job Title: Engineer I - (1 Post)
Reports to: Director of Technical Services
a) Duties
Establishing and implementing preventive maintenance plans for the Institute's facilities.
Preparing budget for engineering works.
Preparing and implement work programmes for equipment inspection, maintenance, site
surveys and installation.
Carrying out planning and procurement of necessary spares and equipments.
Providing professional advice and guidance to hospital equipment users.
Coordinating the exercise of formulation of policies relating to maintenance of hospital equipments.
Organizing installation of machinery and equipment and maintenance
Performing any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her superior.
b)Required Qualifications
Holder of degree in Electrical and Electronics or Biomedical Engineering from a recognized
Institution and must be registered with Engineers' Registration Board, with at least three years working experience in related field.
