TPD Procurement and supplier relation’s (PSR) is responsible for the supply chain management (SCM) process ensuring safe and efficient supply of products and services to all our operations and development projects globally. The organization of approximately 900 people possesses comprehensive competence within all parts of the supply chain process, from market analysis and procurement to transportation and logistics. The organization procures products and services for all of Statoil’s business areas for approximately NOK 120 billion annually.
PSR’s structure has a clear functional and customer focus. The organization consists of seven business units covering strategic, tactical and operational activities in the SCM process - Strategy and supplier relations, Procurement sub-surface, Procurement capital projects, Procurement Norway, Procurement International, Operational procurement and material management, and Process owner supply chain management.
Procurement subsurface consists of four sectors – Mobile drilling rigs, Research, development and innovation, Drilling & Well and geoscience services, and Drilling & Well supply (DSU).
The DSU sector, with almost 70 employees, consists of four departments - one in Stjørdal, two in Bergen and one in Stavanger.

Job description

  • Drilling supply responsible (DSR) to TPD Drilling & Well:
  • Provide logistic support to TPD Drilling & Well offshore operations, including planning and coordinating delivery of personnel, goods and services.
  • Support planning and requisitioning in TPD Drilling & Well teams

Qualifications

  • Students at university/college who have completed at least two years of the education program by spring 2015.
  • Study programs relevant for the tasks/discipline
  • Previous job experience (summer internships, part time job) in areas such as logistics, retail and wholesale, etc. will be an advantage
  • Business- and value chain understanding
