Job Summary
Cardno ATC is a national engineering/consulting firm that specializes in environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing and inspection service. Cardno ATC is recognized as one of the nation's leading practitioners of Environmental Consulting, Engineering and Testing.
Cardno ATC is seeking a full-time Engineering Department Manager to work in our Novi, MI office.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
> Manage staff, including materials testing laboratory technicians, QAA inspectors, and junior engineers
> Business development and proposal preparation
> Management and oversight of Engineering program to include: staff management; geotechnical, soils, concrete and materials analysis, project management, assisting branch billing specialist with timely collection of accounts receivable, tech scheduling, safety program implementation and expanding current client base
> Management and oversight of Engineering program to include: staff management; geotechnical, soils, concrete and materials analysis, project management, assisting branch billing specialist with timely collection of accounts receivable, tech scheduling, safety program implementation and expanding current client base

Other Requirements
Basic qualifications:
> BS or MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
> State of MI Registered P.E.
> Strong geotechnical and construction background in Michigan and be able to market/develop client base
> 10 - 20 years of experience in construction and geotechnical investigations/design and 3-5 years operations management experience
