An exciting opportunity to deliver change at the heart of the IAG Cargo business. As People Change Programme Manager, you will support the delivery of a key programme of change in the operational hub of our business in London.
 
You will be an experienced programme manager who has a proven track record of coordinating and delivering a programme of significant people change projects to time and budget. Resilient, and with an eye for detail; have excellent interpersonal & influencing skills and can handle ambiguity.
 
You will be able to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels across the organisation including senior executives, trade union officials and operational managers and as such will experience of delivering change in a unionised environment.
 
Job Purpose
Provide specialist programme and change management expertise to ensure the delivery of the London Operations People Change programme to timescales and budget.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensure fit for purpose project management best practice is applied to change initiatives in Cargo to ensure successful delivery
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including IAG Cargo executive team, HR, Finance project managers to review project progress and proactively resolve issues as they arise
  • Review the full IAG Cargo portfolio with the IAG Cargo portfolio manager to ensure projects are prioritised and aligned in order to deliver the strategy
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities, interdependencies, gaps, risks and issues and proactively take appropriate action
  • Takes an involved and “hands on” Provide interim and additional project management support at early or critical phases of key initiatives where required
  • Ensures all change initiatives include appropriate employee engagement and communications plans
  • Scope, shape and define new initiatives, write project briefs and/or Terms of References (ToRs) and/or work directly with the project managers to ensure adequate scoping and defining of projects
  • Conduct project health checks, review and provide feedback on key project management documents like ToRs and plans

Essential Qualifications
  • A project management qualification (e.g. MSP) is desirable
  • Preferred: educated to a graduate level or equivalent
Experience
  • Strong project management experience demonstrated by successful track record of managing projects
  • Involvement in delivery of business change projects
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience of working with stakeholders from different business areas and range of seniority levels
  • Experience of applying structured project methodologies, tools and disciplines
  • Experience of delivering people change projects within a unionised environment
Expertise
  • Good knowledge of project management processes and techniques
  • Good understanding of business drivers to allow identification of conflicts and dependencies
  • Working knowledge of basic employment law
