Job Summary

A superb opportunity for an experienced Administration/PA professional in this busy team

Key Responsibilities

​Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  •  Provide high level one on one administrative support to the Business Unit Manager whilst also supporting the wider team to ensure business outcomes are achieved and the overall performance of the business unit is improved through increased efficiencies. 
  •  Diary Management, co-ordination of meetings and events including client liaison and minute taking. 
  •  Assist with the preparation of submissions, reports and contract documentation.
  •  Overall co-ordination of financial reporting on monthly financial statistics to VIC Division. 
  •  Operational management of Health Safety and Environment, to ensure that the business unit is following all operational requirements under Cardno’s Zero Harm Policy. 
  •  Management and maintenance of the business units Quality Management System to ensure that all working documentation is maintained and kept up to date. 
  •  Liaison with the VIC Division Human Resources team to ensure staffing needs are met by the business unit including, recruitment, career development reviews and training and development for employees. 
  •  Liaison with the Marketing team to ensure all marketing collateral for the business unit is maintained and kept up to date.
  •  Having a process focus dealing with debtors and files

Other Requirements

​Applicants need to possess the following skills and experience:
  • A Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration. 
  •  Five to ten years of experience in an office management / heavy administration role responsible for a team and overall business operations. 
  •  An understanding of project management concepts
  •  An ability to identify process improvement opportunities
  •  Strong written and communication skills. 
  •  Strong attention to detail. 
  •  Client centric focus. 
  •  Confidence to take control and ensure the Business Unit is being managed efficiently
