Job Summary
Cardno is seeking a Branch Manager/Project Manager in our Houston, Texas office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Planning, scheduling, and coordinating field crews and work to meet project scope requirements.
> Managing field personnel and office staff assigned in the branch office
> Initiating, preparing and reviewing proposals. Participating in interviews and presentations.
> Serving as a representative of Cardno TBE at client meetings.
>Preparing project deliverables and project related correspondence.
> Accuracy, timeliness and financial performance of assigned projects.
> Managing client contracts, including fee estimation, project set-up and execution of work under senior management supervision.
> Establishing and maintaining quality assurance plans and safety plans for assigned projects.
> Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients.
> Directing, scheduling, training and disciplining all associates assigned by the Service Group Leader.

Other Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
> Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Surveying, Construction Management, Geophysics or related field
>Minimum of five (5) years of experience
> Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain future licensure
> Ability to periodically travel to field sites and other Cardno offices throughout the U.S.
> Must have strong skills in the following areas: written and oral communication, supervisory and mentoring, attention to details and accuracy, planning, decision making, problem solving.
Desired Qualifications:
>Experience in leadership, project management and staff supervision.
>Ability to manage diverse, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, team oriented work environment
> Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
>Self-motivated; strong initiative
>Detail oriented; resourceful
