Unilever Future Leaders Programme - Supply Chain - United Arab Emirate
Supply Chain / Supply Chain Management
How do you get 12,000 litres of ice cream across the dessert without it melting? How do you transform the world's largest spreads factory or bring an innovative new product to life?

What will you do?

All three areas of Supply Chain - Supply Management, Manufacturing and Logistics - call for clear thinkers with good strategic, logistical skills. Over at least three placements, you'll get an inside look at several production sites and head office operations, which may include projects within supply management, logistics, planning and a factory team leadership role. You will also have the opportunity to work internationally. Whichever engineering institution you want to join - the institution of Chemical Engineers, Electrical Engineers or Mechanical Engineers - we'll fully support you in gaining chartered status through our accredited training scheme.

1. Engineering Manufacturing and Processing : This basically involves turning raw materials into finished products. In engineering, you’ll be responsible for design, operation and maintenance of our leading edge, highly automated manufacturing plants. Efficiency is key to being able to meet the demands of customers and consumers

  2. Supply Management “Procurement”: Responsible business and value for money both start here. We’re astute in how we source the many raw materials, packaging and non-production items that we use. You will be on the front line, representing Unilever to suppliers.
4. Customer Service Excellence Planning and Logistics:

This is a challenging but enjoyable juggling act. You will need to estimate the future demands of our customers, then synchronise the combination of thousands of materials with production line availability to create our many products. You also need to co-ordinate where the finished product needs to go and how it is going to get there. Getting this together at the right time and in the right quantity is a challenge reserved for the best and brightest.
