Project Assistant Intern

Richmond Psychosocial Foundation International (RPFI) is a UK based international charity with links to partner organisations in 15 countries worldwide and has a successful track record of developing and implementing projects with major donors. RPFI advocates the therapeutic community model of support for adults and adolescents with mental health, learning disability or substance misuse problems.
RPFI is looking for a highly motivated individuals to join a project team, whose role is to support funding applications for a project - Human rights based system for juvenile mental disordered offenders.
The intern will support the International Development Officer and project lead in -
  • Researching and identifying sources of funding
  • Identifying appropriate qualitative and quantitative consultation documents
  • Liaison and administration with stakeholders
  • Analysis of data and service model development
  • Stakeholder mapping
  • Budget preparation
  • Bid preparation, writing and submission
  • Identification of project evaluation and monitoring
Requirements
  • Excellent research skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to draft, review and edit texts
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to communicate with variety of stakeholders and conduct document review processes
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, including strong command of MS Office programmes
  • Proven ability to work flexibly in a small, innovative and dynamic team
  • Possession of strong organisational skills
This is a short-term intern position, intern roles are not a prelude to longer term employment with the organisation. If opportunities for further paid employment arise, these will be advertised and interns who apply will be considered against the same criteria as other applicants.
Please note that our internships are unpaid and hours of work are negotiable.
