Purpose of Role:

The Marketing Financial Analyst plays an important role in realizing and delivering our F17 Strategy, with overall accountability over Innovation financials and A&P strategy for the Global Business Unit. This role supports the Global Business Finance Manager in driving financial leadership through robust processes and tools.
While acting as finance business partner for Marketing Director, Innovation team and the Marketing organisation based in different locations, this role also sets and drives financial agenda for excellence in a global business.
 
 
Top 3-5 Accountabilities 
 
 
  1. Innovation financial analysis for portfolio of planned projects and post-launch tracking including Net Present Value, Price benchmarking and governing minimum financial criteria. Actively build on plans beyond lens of financials to maximize value and minimize risk.
 
 
  1. Directly manage Central A&P budget including target setting, tracking and supporting the marketing teams with P2P and IO management. Oversight and analysis of regional A&P on how funds are invested and propose changes to improve payout.
 
 
  1. Deliver savings in A&P through robust ROI analysis across different activity pools and understanding regional dynamics. Partnering with Procurement to deliver hard savings across A&P budgets.
 
 
  1. Build multi-year P&L for JV’s on Ketel One, Zacapa and other key brands. Ensure delivery of targets aligned with Global Brand Teams and correct Sighting Targets are set for each region in the annual planning process.
 
 
  1. Continually seek process improvement opportunities to simplify. Eg Innovation approvals, budget tracking. Proactively build the organisation to improve financial and business acumen.
 
Qualifications and experience required 
 
  • Strong finance analysis skills with at least 5 years of experience, gained from reputed multi-national corporations, preferably in a regional role and FMCG experience
  • Highly analytical and able to deliver financial data in a user friendly and relevant manner
  • Possesses business acumen and is keen about business drivers behind the numbers
  • Deep understanding and curiosity on consumers and shoppers behaviors and what drives them
  • Continually brings the outside in – consumers, customers, category, competition
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex matrix environment and natural instinct to reach out to understand proactively help find ways of doing things better
  • Works independently and manages multiple projects and priorities
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Team player, with the drive and interpersonal skills necessary to develop strong working relationships at all levels
