GE Capital Real Estate UK comprises a 50-member professional team that originates GE's lending in the commercial real estate market and manages a debt and equity portfolio of of over $5BN. The business is based at GE Capital's UK headquarters in Hammersmith.
As Equity Asset Management Intern you will work closely with the members of the Equity Asset Management team in all aspects of portfolio management. This will include playing an active role in marketing, leasing, tenant liaison and supplier engagement. You will also have the opportunity to become involved in sales, valuations and other asset management activities including property visits around the UK.
On the operational side, your responsibilities will include:
• Collating and storing sale documentation
• Assisting with our document database
• Managing a lease expiry tracker in conjunction with the Risk team
• Uploading vacant property data into our leasing tool and on-going management of tool
• Assisting with preparation of transaction reports and presentations
• Real Estate degree or European equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment
• Detail oriented with good time management skills
• Strong skills in IT systems as well as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
• Fluent in English
