Marie Stopes International is a social enterprise with an income of c.£250m. We provide millions of the world's poorest and most vulnerable women with quality family planning and reproductive healthcare through a number of innovative models.
The Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership receives substantial amounts of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funding through a variety of mechanisms for its international family planning activities in 43 countries around the world. These funds are subject to donor restrictions and guidelines which must be adhered to.
About the role
Marie Stopes International (MSI) is the prime recipient of two global Cooperative Agreements from USAID (SIFPO 1 and SIFPO 2) and sub-recipient on one (SHOPS) which provide substantial funding to its international family planning activities around the world.
Based in London and reporting into the Global Head of USAID Financial Management this role will play a key role in managing these three awards. The post-holder will have the opportunity to perform standard budgeting, accounting and reporting duties in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and USAID grant requirements.
This position will be accountable for maintaining financial oversight of both Cooperative Agreements, ensuring MSI meets all USAID financial requirements and obligations.
About you
We see you bringing to the role an accounting or business qualification, with an excellent working knowledge of the financial management of USAID-funded projects. You'll have experience working with financial systems.
Salary £40,000 - £45,000 + pension and discretionary bonus
