Citizen Outreach Directors for critical CO Senate race

Mark Udall's opponent, Cory Gardner, is on the wrong side of issues that matter to Colorado. He voted to outlaw some forms of birth control, to ban same-sex couples from adopting children, and, ignoring overwhelming scientific evidence, let big polluters keep dumping unlimited carbon pollution into our air. Mark Udall is leading the charge to protect women's access to affordable birth control, supports marriage equality and voted no on the Keystone Pipeline.
Cory Gardner is just wrong for Colorado that's why we need people just like you to join us in our campaign to re-elect Mark Udall for Senate.
Work for Progress is opening 11 offices to re-elect Senator Udall and we're looking for talented organizers to run those offices. As a director you'll recruit, hire, and train a staff of campaigners who will help and stem the conservative tide in our country.
Responsibilities: Being a Director requires that you work independently, exercising good judgment and discretion, to meet the office's staffing, campaign and field work goals.

    • Train staff on effective canvassing and campaigning techniques
    • Run staff meetings and skills trainings
    • Evaluate staff performance and give ongoing feedback
    • Identify strong staff, teach them leadership skills, and promote from within

  • Administration
    • Manage administrative aspects of running a campaign office including cutting turf, databasing, managing payroll, etc.
Qualifications: Candidates must have leadership experience, strong communication skills, and have completed at least one year of college. Experience with political campaigns, canvassing, or phonebanking is a plus.
