Development and Production International (DPI) is responsible for Statoil’s existing international portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments. DPI focuses on building business clusters and maximising the value of our producing fields internationally. Some of the main priorities are to ensure industry leading HSE performance in all our operations and partner-operated fields, deliver production and mature new projects. DPI is organised in four regions: Europe and Asia (EA), North Africa (NAF), South America (SAM) and sub-Saharan Africa (SAF).
The Maintenance Engineer/SAP Plant Maintenance Engineer position provides Work Process and SAP training, support and advice to users for activities related to plant maintenance, technical objects, maintenance processing, preventative maintenance, modifications Work Process (with focus on interfaces with Production department) and reporting. In addition this position will be expected to support and implement the corporate work process in relation to SAP related maintenance and modification management, within O&M area. The role will be responsible for the mentorship and guidance of local team member(s) and contractors

Job description

  • Act as a SAP and ARIS Maintenance Management expert on the Plant Maintenance (PM) module covering functional locations, equipment, BOM's, notification, work orders, capacity planning, maintenance plans, maintenance schedules, concepts and strategies, as well as modifications initiate/approval phases;
  • Monitor SAP PM system;
  • Build and maintain high business process knowledge within the group with cooperation from the Global Process Owner group;
  • Identify competencies gaps and implement training plan and when necessary request resources, within or outside company;
  • Assist team to build strong relationships with the relevant global Statoil Networks;
  • Ensure the proactive resolution of SAP/business integration issues, liaising directly with other groups (MMP, PS, Finance, Systems Development, IT and Reporting & Training);
  • Responsible for all requested training requirements to allow team members to effectively use the SAP PM modules to meet processing requirements;
  • Communicate to team members and leaders the Statoil Plant Maintenance process;
  • Implement any new SAP O&M related functionality or processes as requested by the business.;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree on Production, Mechanical, Naval, Electrical or Electronic Engineering;
  • Relevant certifications (within SAP or relevant discipline) or specialization courses on the maintenance management area;
  • Relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education;
  • Engineering degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor/Master);
  • Min 10 years experience from offshore Oil & Gas or Marine industry;
  • Participation on offshore units or ships newbuildings, conversions, dry-docks or major projects;
  • Experience from and/or education in QA/QC, inspections and/or certification process;
  • Experience from and/or education in maintenance and/or modifications;
  • Experience and knowledge in applying Brazilian and International standards, preparation for internal and external audits and inspections, dealing with Authorities;
  • Experience in managing contractors activities;
  • Documented skills in structural discipline, piping, inspection methods, heavy rotating machinery, preferably diesel engines, compressors, turbines and pumps;
  • Interpersonal skills with good ability to communicate at all levels;
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills in addition to Portuguese;
  • The position might take up “on duty” tasks according to Company regulations;
  • Excellent English oral and writing skills;
  • Desirable to have previous experience in SAP based maintenance programs.
