Monitoring System & Application Developer – Raskin, MIS and CHS

Jakarta, Indonesia – Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid funded Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF)
PRSF is a joint facility between Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid and the Government of Indonesia to improve the quality of policy advice for poverty programs in Indonesia.
GRM International is the Managing Contractor contracted by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid to manage the implementation of PRSF.
We are currently looking for a Monitoring System & Application Developer to support the Raskin MIS Specialist at the technical level in designing and development of the Raskin Monitoring Information System (MIS) prototype at the central level.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in ICT-related discipline.
  2. Minimum two years of work experience relevant to desktop or web-based database application programming. Involvement in at least two cycle of application development project.
  3. Experience using web-based development tools such as PHP, Java, or ASP, including working experience on using framework for development. Certification on and/or familiarity with SQL programming, Java or PHP frameworks will be an advantage.
  4. Familiar with RDBMS and object-oriented programming, and experience with simple database design.
  5. Understand in using BI Applications and designing dashboard is an advantage.
  6. Understanding or knowledge regarding mobile application development will be an advantage.
  7. Familiarity with working in a government institution with a similar set-up/ mandate as well as with the systems, working mechanisms and dynamics of the relevant GOI institutions will an advantage.
  8. Proven effective communication and strong report writing skills, particularly with internal / external counterparts (e.g. partner agencies, vendors, the GOI). Familiarity with the terminologies used in poverty reduction and with communication style of the relevant GOI agencies will be an advantage.
  9. Proactive, highly motivated and a self-starter. Proven record of strong performance working in teams (teamwork) as well as working independently / with minimum supervision.
  10. Proven ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently as well as multitasking; including to meet tight deadlines as well as managing uncertainty and adjust to a changing work program.
  11. Fluency in written and oral Bahasa Indonesia and in English.
