The role
The HR Manager will be responsible for maintaining country-wide HR policy and process improvements and will drive projects aligned to organisational objectives and regulatory compliance.
Tasked with providing final recommendations and solutions to business managers the HR Manager will cover areas including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counselling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal and quality management issues.
To be suitable for this position you will have 5+ years experience in HR at a manager level, you will have driven HR change focusing on culture and performance and will have a thorough working knowledge of local labor law in the Philippines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented in areas of human resource administration.
  • Provide advice and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
  • Supervise interviewing process for job applicants, evaluate skills and make corresponding recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Provide advice and support to supervisors/management, candidates and employees on all areas of HR management.
  • Assume responsibility for effectively recording, maintaining, and reporting on human resource information for the local operations.
  • Manage and develop direct reporting staff.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Labor Management, or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience
  • At least five (5) years in a human resource and development role (manager)
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labour and employment laws
  • Strong leadership skills and high level of discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and able to easily motivate and inspire people
  • Confident in directing HR and can guide managers on all aspects of people management and development
  • Highly driven self-starter
  • Thrives under pressure and is results-oriented
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
