Customer Service Assistant , University of Leeds

Hours of work: 20 per week (9:00 – 13:00 Monday to Friday)
Evening duties until 18:00 occur by rota (approx. every 3 weeks).
Please note: At times of staff shortages, assisting in the staffing of the Libraries at other unsocial hours (eg. weekends) may be required.
You will be joining a team providing high quality front line support to the University’s staff and students, and to external users. Main duties include staffing the Library’s service points, using the Library's computerised system, answering enquiries and shelving stock.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and be a teamworker. You will be comfortable in using IT and have a positive and professional approach to customer care and to a changing work environment. An understanding of the role of the library, particularly in HE, would be an advantage.
