Culture and Community Network+ Coordinator

Fixed term, maternity leave cover from 1 August 2014
The Institute of Communications Studies invites applications for the fixed-term post of Network+ Coordinator on an EPSRC funded project investigating “Digital Transformations of Culture and Community”. The project is led by Dr Helen Thornham, and aims to undertake a range of activities including networks, placements, scoping studies, pilots and workshop events.
You will provide administrative support for the entire project, liaising with the Project Coordinators across the UK, the Steering Committee, the Independent Panel, other DE projects and the individual activities within the Network+ remit. You will:
  • Assist with the management the virtual resources for the project
  • Organise key events, meetings and workshops
  • Update and collate databases and datasets
  • Offer administrative support for the network as a whole
  • Manage the distribution and promotion of materials generated by the project.
You should have experience of administrative or management roles and you will work closely with Dr Thornham and the Co-Investigators. You will also need to work independently, be self-motivated, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be digitally literate.
It is likely that an appointment will be made at or below £24,057 since there are funding limitations which dictate the level at which the appointment can start.
