Communications Officer

The American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU) speaks for American companies committed to Europe on trade, investment and competitiveness issues. It aims to ensure a growth-orientated business and investment climate in Europe. 


We are currently seeking a Communications Officer to manage a wide range of our communication activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • writing articles, brochures and press materials; editing a wide variety of documents;
  • producing digital and print publications;
  • managing communications and advocacy projects and overseeing website content.
This is an exciting role for someone who is a self-starter, creative and who is passionate about communications and how it can be used to enhance advocacy.

Key requirements:

  • Native English speaker or equivalent skill level;
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills;
  • Experience producing publications, newsletters and reports;
  • Experience using digital communications (inc. web content management systems) and social media in a professional context;
  • A good eye for design and experience in using InDesign and Photoshop;
  • Able to work on own initiative, with excellent project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing demands.
