About the role
Working heavily with the Business Intelligence team you will support the Commercial Performance Analytics team to better understand how they can exploit and use the vast amount of data BA holds. You will be their technical expert on SAS and support them in getting the most out of the data they are analysing.

Working heavily with the Business Intelligence team you will support the Commercial Performance Analytics team to better understand how they can exploit and use the vast amount of data BA holds. You will be their technical expert on SAS and support them in getting the most out of the data they are analysing.
This is a great chance to use your technical knowledge to support a Commercial analysis team.
About the day to day
You’ll help define, build and support the Commercial Revenue Targeting Process and provide a range of Commercial Data Analytics and other data provision for other departments.
The role will see you give the Commercial Analytics Team technical training, as well as identify opportunities for data exploitation solutions for the commercial area, by working closely with the business on requirements and data issues.
In addition, you’ll work with the business to identify appropriate data sources to deliver their requirements and the data and transformations required to meet them, and prototype potential exploitation solutions across a number of technologies.
The role has a high level of data analysis & data exploitation skills, as well as facilitation and coordination skills to understand the data sources and business requirements, as well as, prototype and document solutions for specific business areas.
Actively work with the business to identify appropriate data sources to deliver their requirements and the data and transformations required to meet them.
Prototype potential exploitation solutions across a number of technologies: including Excel, SQL and SAS Work with wider BI team to ensure robust implementation of business needs.
About you
You will need a high level of data analysis and data exploitation skills, as well as abilities in facilitation and coordination, to understand the data sources and business requirements, and to prototype and document solutions for specific business areas.
No doubt you’ll have gained these plus your knowledge of Revenue/Commercial targeting processes from your strong data analytics background.
A real strengths in Excel is a must and we can train you in SQL if you don’t have this system knowledge.
Attention to detail, and ability to handle complex and difficult requirements is needed to succeed.
