Brand Co-ordinator, Kids and Family Entertainment

It is responsible for many of the worlds highest rated prime time entertainment, drama, serial drama, factual entertainment and kids & family programming, and has operations in 25 countries, creating over 9,100 hours of programming a year, rolling out more than 60 formats and airing 400 programmes a year worldwide. The company also distributes more than 20,000 hours of content in over 200 territories.
Purpose:
Support the FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment Team on global brand management projects for Kate & Mim-Mim, Strange Hill High and Max Steel whilst providing administrative support to the Brand Team across the Kids and Family Entertainment TV portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update all brand information on an on-going basis to ensure all brand materials are up to date for Kate & Mim-Mim, Strange Hill High and Max Steel. Materials include brand presentations and brand summary sheets
• Manage the social media activity for Kate & Mim-Mim, Strange Hill High and Max Steel across all platforms and assist in social media strategy
• Create, share and update marketing toolkits for international broadcaster use, plus respond to broadcaster queries
• Complete research projects to investigate brand potential in the TV, retail, and online space globally
• Create show glossaries to send to international broadcasters
• Distribute, save and maintain upkeep of all brand materials and assets e.g. digital assets, photography, logos, ratings and synopses on both the team server, online asset management system and Kids & Family website
• Brief creative agencies on the creation of promotional materials
• Assist with the collation and shipment of marketing materials such as leaflets, premiums and artwork to key contacts and the International FremantleMedia team
Team Support:
• Budget management and finance tracking
• Team diary management, meeting requests and room bookings
• Preparation of materials for meetings (binding/photocopying/collating/cutting episode clips)
• International shipments and courier bookings
• Managing travel bookings for the department, and expenses
• General admin as required
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Educated to degree level (2:1) ideally in a marketing, business, media, humanities or related subject
• Experience in a similar role in the licensing or broadcast/media environment
• Interest in Kids TV/ Entertainment/ media industry
• Experience in web based CMS systems
• In-depth understanding of social media, including monetisation models and analytics
• Experience of managing digital assets
• Ability to work under own initiative, whilst being an enthusiastic and focused team player
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to multi-task
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Highly computer literate (Intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills)
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Evidence of commercial understanding
• Understanding of TV & Consumer Products licensing trade publications
• Understanding of digital video formats & specifications
• Photoshop training and experience of basic editing processes
