World Vision Philippines Jobs April 2014

World Vision (WV) has launched an emergency response to help affected families who urgently need food, shelter, clean water, medical care and counselling for those who have lost loved ones in the Philippines. But we need additional staff to help us do all we can for those affected by this terrible disaster.
We are recruiting for the following key roles:

Sector Advisor, Education in Emergencies

Under the general supervision of the Sector Advisor Manager & Operations Director the Education in Emergencies Advisor will provide the necessary strategic and technical support to ensure effective project design, implementation, integration and technical coordination of multi-sectoral relief/recovery/rehabilitation projects in accordance with the highest humanitarian and sector relevant standards.
Required: Must have at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field. At least 7 years of practical experience in humanitarian related work. Demonstrated leadership, people management, coaching, mentoring, and team building skills. Strong problem identification, analytical and solving skills. Strong competency in proposal & report writing, monitoring and budgeting skills. Experience working with communities and local governments, INGOs, donors and other key internal and external stakeholders.

Sector Advisor, Livelihoods

Under the general supervision of the Sector Advisor Manager & Operations Director the Livelihoods Advisor will provide the necessary strategic and technical support to ensure effective project design, implementation, integration and technical coordination of multi-sectoral relief/recovery/rehabilitation projects in accordance with the highest humanitarian and sector relevant standards.
Required:Must have at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field. At least 7 years of practical experience in humanitarian related work.
