The Strategy and Safety Management Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the Agency’s strategy and strategic safety policy as well as overseeing and managing safety intelligence, including research. The job holder will also be responsible for managing International Cooperation in the development of international standards and representing the Agency’s position in high-level aviation safety forums.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A completed university degree in the field of aviation;
  • At least 15 years of professional experience with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic aviation activities and 5 years of senior management experience;
  • Proven understanding of policies in the field of safety and environmental compatibility of civil aviation;
  • Proven knowledge of International and European aviation regulatory frameworks.
