Establishing the facts, documenting human rights abuses and providing impartial analysis is the foundation for establishing accountability and securing justice for victims. Amnesty International has an impeccable record of over 50 years of independent high quality research and documentation. We are now recruiting for the leadership role of the Research function in Amnesty International, reporting to the Secretary General, to ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of high quality research and analysis, including in crisis situations. We are looking for a globally recognised expert who has performed a comparable role, with a track record of fighting for justice and human rights. The Senior Director, Research, will be a key spokesperson for the Amnesty International movement with governments, expert fora and the media.
