Head of Operations, Technology and Supply Chain Management APAC
S/he will be responsible for the overall Operation and Management of 5 Production plants, Regional Technical Department (Controlling, Materials, Process Engineering, Safety), Regional Quality Management, and Supply Chain Management in APAC
Reporting directly to: Regional CEO
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall Operation and Management of 5 Production plants, Regional Technical Department (Controlling, Materials, Process Engineering, Safety), Regional Quality Management, and Supply Chain Management in APAC
For the operations part, the position holder will be responsible for:
Budgeting, planning, controlling of initiatives and KPI as well as of implementing new production lines, methods and new technologies, etc.
For SCM, the position holder shall
-Maintain and continuously improve the best practices of inventory management, production planning, and forecasting.
-Implement consistent and effective Supply Chain management processes in order to maximize our delivery performance, minimize costs and working capital.
Requirements -Candidate shall possess a university degree in Engineering, Manufacturing / Production or equivalent. -MBA will be an added advantage;
-Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a production or engineering environment with at least 5 years in a plant management / operations position.
-Experience in a regional function will be added advantage;
-Experience in Supply Chain Management;
-External Six Sigma certification (Black belt);
-Competent and proven track record in facilitating cost reduction and maximizing revenue generation capability in a country of the APAC region
-Strong plastics industry experience will be preferred;
-Strong business orientation and competent in both management and technical aspects. Able to establish good relationship with internal and external interfaces to manage sales, marketing and technical issues and ensure minimal disruptions to production plans and activities;
-Positive, strategic-minded and able to communicate well with all levels;
-Strong leadership skills with high level of integrity;
-Available to travel extensively in the region.
